It is the time of the year again when we need to protect our environment from degradation through tree planting activities and campaigns.
I know how important the environment is to you and you would not love to see it being destroyed by torrential rainfall, bad winds etc. You and I have witnessed how our communities have been destroyed by these natural phenomena.
Let’s face it, preparing for this natural disaster is a big task for one person to do or you may want to spend the precious time with friends, families and business. That is why we are asking you to join us as a donor specifically, partner or volunteer to solve this problem in our communities.
Our team has developed a strategic plan to do this via a Competitive Tree Planting Campaign which we would love to share and discuss with you if you become interested in it. Imagine what it would feel like to have our land protected from degradation via tree planting. We would have enough land for agricultural activities and hence abundant farm produce, cheap foods and fruits in our market to buy.
We have an experienced team at Almubarak Waqf Foundation and partners who have engaged in tree planting activities..
We have gotten at least two members of our team who have 20 years of experience in tree planting activities and campaign during their work in the ministry
We are also partnering with a state and local government’s environment and forestry department to launch this campaign
With these team’s experiences and partnership, we are assured that the problem of environmental degradation due to lack of tree cover protection can become a thing of the past.
