
Almubarak Waqf Foundation is an Islamic organization, which is set up solely for improving the quality of life of Muslims in Nigeria.
What is Waqf?
Waqf is an endowment, which can be of land and other assets which is given for religious or charitable purposes in Islamic and non-Islamic communities.
We, at Almubarak Waqf Foundation, manage these properties that have been given and utilise the revenue or profit generated from these assets in providing:
- Food for the poor and the needy,
- quality education,
- hospital or clinics to communities that do not have these facilities,
- promoting religious activities,
- promoting entrepreneurial culture in the youth,
- micro financing small businesses,
- partnering with relevant stakeholders to reduce crime in our society,
- And advocating or supporting government in making good policies that benefits all.
We are also involved in collection of Zakat, management and distribution of it to the right people as specified in Sharia.
