Zakat is one of the Five Pillars of Islam, and it is an obligatory form of almsgiving or charity for eligible Muslims.

Zakat Nisab refers to the minimum amount of wealth a Muslim must possess for a full lunar year before they are required to pay Zakat.

The Nisab is usually measured in terms of gold or silver, as these were the primary forms of wealth during the time of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).

It’s important to note that the Nisab values may change over time due to fluctuations in the prices of gold and silver.

Once your wealth reaches or exceeds the Nisab threshold, you are obligated to pay Zakat, which is usually 2.5% of your total wealth.

Muslims are encouraged to stay informed about the current Nisab values and fulfill their Zakat obligations accordingly.

Additionally, consulting with your local scholars or Islamic authorities for the most accurate and up-to-date information is recommended.

According to National Moon Sighting Committee Nigeria https://twitter.com/moonsightingng/status/1745794239504482546),
